Are your products tested on animals?

No, we never ever test on animals.

Are your products vegan?

Yes, all products are 100% vegan.

Are your products fragrance free?

Yes, all products are 100% fragrance free.

Are your products 100% natural and organic?

Though we use natural ingredients as much as possible we still include man-made ingredients if we think they will enhance the product’s efficacy, sustainability and safety. Many natural ingredients can be irritating, we believe it’s best to formulate our products based on results rather than labels.

Do ambo products have an expiration date?

Most cosmetics products have a PAO (Period After Opening) date. This is represented on the product packaging as a little open pot with a number inside. Most ambo products will last at least 6 months after opening. Check the back of your packaging to confirm.

Packaging

Is all your packaging recyclable?

All our bottles and caps are 100% recyclable. However, the optional lotion pumps are not currently recyclable. This is because they contain dual materials that are very hard to separate when processed as waste.

Is your packaging plastic free?

It’s frustrating but not all our packaging is plastic free. We still use an EPE liner in the upper ceiling of our caps. This springy foam allows for an airtight seal between the cap and bottle. It prevents the product from oxidising and extends its shelf life. We consider the liner essential but are working on alternatives. We also offer lotion pumps and pipettes with certain products but you can opt out of these!

Can I opt out of receiving a plastic pump?

Yes you can! If a product comes with a plastic dispenser you will be able to opt out of receiving one on the product page.

Is plastic really that bad?

We think it is. If plastic is not processed properly and enters the environment it can cause terrible damage to wildlife. The effects of common plastic waste is already being witnessed across the world with mico-plastics posing potentially even greater risks for centuries to come. As long as local authorities are failing to process plastic waste in a responsible manner, we will endeavour to reduce the amount our company produces.

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

We only deliver within the United Kingdom at the moment. If you don’t live in the UK and want to receive a notification on when we plan on shipping to your region then please sign up here.

What are my shipping options?

All deliveries are shipped via Yodel for a standard £4.00 charge. We offer free shipping for all orders over £50.00.

When can I expect my order?

Orders placed before 5.00pm are packed and shipped by our team the next day. Please allow 3-4 days for delivery.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Please contact us on orders@amboskincare.com straightaway. We’ll work with you and the courier to collect and exchange your order.

How can I edit my shipping address or cancel my order?

If you want to change your shipping address or cancel your order please email orders@amboskincare.com as soon as possible. Please note - we may be unable to change your delivery options if your order has already been dispatched.

Returns & Refund Policy

Do you accept returns?

We accept returns on orders made within 30 days. If the product is unopened we can offer you a full refund or exchange it for another product of equal value (or minus the difference). Please note - your original shipping charges are not refunded.

How do I make a return?

Please send an email to orders@amboskincare.com with your name and order number to start the returns process.

How long does it take to process my refund?

Once the goods have been returned, refunds usually take approximately 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
